Aircraft Maintenance Technology

Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Technology focusses on preparing students to perform and maintenance and repair tasks on Aircraft ad their components. The courses in this programme will aloow students to choose a career path in the highly demanding aviation industry in the mechanicals, structural or avionics areas. This programme will also enable students to sit for the DCAM or EASA Part 66 License Examination eventually. The courses combine academic, practical and management skills required for the aviation sector.

Automotive Engineering

Automotive Engineering is a branch of vehicle engineering, incorporating elements of mechanical, electrical, electronic, software and safety engineering as applied to the design, manufacture and operation of automobiles, buses and trucks and their respective engineering sub-systems.

Civil & Mechanical Engineering

Civil Engineering is a broad field of engineering dealing with the planning, design, construction, maintenance and management of the physical infrasctructure network. Civil Engineering today deals with the power plants, bridges, roads, railways, structures, infrastructure, water supply, irragation, the natural environment, transportation and highway engineering.

The Electro-Mechanical Engineering course covers the design, analysis, manufacturing and maintenance of equipment and products based on the combination of mechanical systems with electrical/electronics and computer equipment.

Certificate in Business, Computing and Mechanical Engineering equip students with knowledge of basic Science and Mathemetics and basic principles of Business, Computing and Engineering disciplines. The focus is on the range of skills to prepare students to embark on the Diploma or pursue and entry level job.

Information Technology

Information Technology embraces all academic disciplines, work life and home life. To meet the dynamic needs of the global era, the course focuses on critical and analytical thinking, designing and developing systems, managerial and leadership skills and hardware and software in the world of ICT.

Certificate in Business, Computing and Mechanical Engineering equip students with knowledge of basic Science and Mathemetics and basic principles of Business, Computing and Engineering disciplines. Business Studies

Diploma in Management programme is to equip the students with in-depth knowledge of management and finance and the range of skills they need to embark on a successful career in management or in the finance area, a professional qualification or further studies.

Diploma in Accountancy programme is a drawing on accounting and finance theory, practices and techniques, this unique course develops analytical, quantitative, computing, presentation and other transferable skills required by the business world and specifically by the accounting profession.

Centre of Language Studies

Centre of Language Studies came into existence in the year 2004. since in its inception, it has been headed by Mr.Azmi Othman. Within its sphere, it encompassed a English language, mathematics, science and computer studies as well as the subjects required by MQA.

While the department provides high quality support services, to the core disciplines of TAFE college Seremban, it also facilitates a smooth and successful transition of students from secondary school to college in order to produce graduates with critical and creative ability as well as high standard ethics and morality.

Thus, by providing a holistic education, to develop graduates of high ethical standard equipped with knowledge and professional skills, the general studies department ensures that you can help to fulfill the manpower need of the nation.

Skills Training (JPK)

This department operates under the Department of Accredited Centre of TAFE College Seremban with registration JPK (L00026). TAFE is one of the earliest colleges where skills training were conducted and we offer Malaysian Skills Certification for skills based program modules.

Kolej TAFE Seremban also maintained twice the star rating audit and was awarded Excellent achievement award (5 stars) which were audited by the National Department of Skills Development.

Kolej TAFE Seremban run courses at certificate level (SKM Level 2-3) until the Malaysian Skills Diploma (DKM Level 4) which is recognized by the Department of Skills Development (DSD) under the Ministry of Human Resources.

Level 1 & Level 2 (Starter)

These levels are aimed at students who have nearly no knowledge of the English level. It will equip them with the necessary skills to take the Beginner level courses.

Level 3 & Level 4 (Beginner)

These levels are suitable for students with a limited knowledge of the English language. The Grammar component covers essentials such as basic verb forms and tenses.

Level 5 & Level 6 (Intermediate)

These levels are suitable for people who have completed a Beginners programme or for students who are coming back to English after learning it at some point in the past. The Grammar component covers key grammatical areas such as main verb tenses, modals, quantifiers and comparison structures.

Level 7 & Level 8 (Upper- Intermediate)

These levels are suitable for people who have completed a Upper-Intermediate programme. Students continue to enhance their knowledge of grammatical structures, increase their vocabulary and advance their writing skills.

Level 9 & Level 10 (Advanced)

These levels are aimed at those who have completed an Intermediate programme. The Grammar component covers such areas as passive voice, conditional structures, modals and structures involving adjectives and adverbs. By the time students have completed the Advanced syllabus, they should have achieved a sufficient level of English to enable them to sit for the TOFEL and IELTS
